Join Ellie and Matthew Shrader for an afternoon of sound bathing, a meditative experience where attendees are "bathed" in sound waves. These waves are produced by a variety of means, including healing instruments such as gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, shruti boxes, and even the human voice.

Sound meditation doesn’t always have a catchy melody or rhythm one would associate with going to a concert, but instead is a carefully selected wash of instrument and voice with notable resonance and overtones. During the sound meditation, participants lie on their backs for the entire experience as Ellie and Matthew weave together sounds that tune the mind for healing.

The session will begin with an orientation to the space, some introduction to the instruments and some mental health information. We will then go into a guided meditation designed to help you get back into your body. We'll move into an hour of sound bathing and then will bring you back to the room to wake up or come-to slowly. You will have an opportunity to ask any questions or share your observations at this time.

Participants report feeling more relaxed in mind and body, with improved sleep and an overall sense of wellbeing.

This is an inclusive class for any body, and everybody.
Bring anything you need to be cozy (zero gravity chair, yoga mat, blanket, pillow, eye mask, etc) and Shrader Healing will bring the sound.
